Every page now reaches Gnomad's engines. dashed has nothing to do on them: the synth's card says why, in two short words, as written under it. A knob a sound's own knob already moves says "Knob n has it". SLICER and MOD are not offered on a Gnomad sound.

Echo, space and wobble.

Two of every sound's knobs are sends, shared by all four tracks; one is its motion.

ECHO  the echo

One second of echo, stored as 8-bit companded codes: the grain is part of its character. The knob is how much of the sound goes in. A DLY sets its time on the song's tempo, its repeats and the mix; the echo has no tone knob.

pool 44,100 echo codes · SPEC/20 D02

SPACE  the plate

A plate reverb (the Griesinger and Dattorro tank), adapted from Emilie Gillet's MIT code. The knob is the send; the size is shared.

size law: decay 0.114 + 0.686 s²
RT60 0.97 s at 0 · 1.04 s at 1/4 · 1.31 s at 1/2 · 2.17 s at the default · 5.74 s at full
A REVERB SIZE moves it (90: the default); its damping follows the size

WOBBLE  motion, and chorus

Wobble moves the sound itself (its pitch or its tone, at the sound's own rate); VIBRATO, SWIRL and SPEED are its cousins. Every track also has a chorus send; A CHORUS sets its speed and depth, LFO the motion's speed. The motion is a sine from each note's start.

SPEC/20: the ensemble chorus sits behind GC_FX_ENSEMBLE, not in this profile

The loop.

Four tracks, one loop, on the synth's own sequencer: 64 steps a track.
